CocoaVia® Cocoa Extract Supplement Featured at Expo West 2013
Recognized in the Delicious Living 2013 Supplement Awards
GERMANTOWN, Maryland, March 8, 2013 - CocoaVia® daily cocoa extract supplement will be featured at Expo West 2013, March 8 – 10, Booth #1004. This product is a one-of-a-kind daily cocoa extract supplement that helps support healthy aging by promoting cardiovascular health. CocoaVia® supplement is made with a concentrated Cocoapro® cocoa extract and delivers 250 milligrams of cocoa flavanols per serving – guaranteeing the highest concentration of cocoa flavanols per serving in a dietary supplement. CocoaVia® supplement was recently recognized in the Delicious Living 2013 Supplement Awards; receiving honorable mention in the heart health category.
The cocoa flavanols in CocoaVia® supplement are powerful phytonutrients (or plant-based nutrients) naturally found in cocoa beans. Decades of research have scientifically proven that cocoa flavanols help support healthy circulation; the heart, brain, muscles, eyes and skin all depend on healthy circulation. Often referred to as a “super fruit,” no other food on Earth can match the unique blend of flavanols found in cocoa.
“There is wide-spread misunderstanding about the benefits of dark chocolate,” explained Dr. Catherine Kwik-Uribe, Director of Research and Development, CocoaVia® brand. “Rather than the benefits of dark chocolate, consumers should actually be considering the benefits of cocoa flavanols.”
Added Dr. Kwik-Uribe, “Our CocoaVia® supplement is made with a proprietary Cocoapro® cocoa extract that retains and concentrates the flavanols found naturally in cocoa. The only product on the market with the Cocoapro® cocoa extract, our CocoaVia® supplement guarantees 250mg of cocoa flavanols in every serving and our gentle process ensures that the flavanols in the product are absorbed by the body.”
CocoaVia®supplement is available in four varieties: unsweetened dark chocolate, sweetened dark chocolate, cran-raspberry and summer citrus flavors. Additional product specifications include:
