Keeping your patients informed
The media is increasingly broadcasting messages about the role diet plays in our overall health. Cardiovascular health in particular is currently receiving a great deal of attention. Many of your patients are regularly exposed to news stories about the latest research findings, while food companies advertise the potential heart health benefits of their products. Consumers are clearly interested in maintaining or improving their health through dietary alternatives, but often don't fully understand the science behind the research findings or the product claims being made. You can provide a valued service to your patients by helping them understand how phytosterols and flavanols may help maintain healthy cholesterol levels and contribute to healthy circulation.

We welcome you to make use of the educational materials available on our site and to share this information with your patients.
