Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Cinnamon Bun Overnight Oats Recipe

  • Ingredients

    • ¾ cup unsweetened nondairy milk
    • 1/3 cup plain nondairy yogurt
    • 1 tablespoon natural almond or peanut butter
    • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1 Scoop of CocoaVia™ Cardio Health Powder
    • ½ cup rolled oats
    • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
    • 1 tablespoon currants, raisins, or sultanas
    • Maple syrup to taste


    Optional Apple Topping:

    • 1 teaspoon vegan butter
    • ½ medium apple, thinly sliced
    • 1 teaspoon maple syrup, or to taste
    • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Instructions

    1. Transfer the nondairy milk, yogurt, almond butter, cinnamon, and CocoaVia™ Cardio Health Supplement, to a blender.
    2. Blend on high until smooth. Pour the blended mixture into an airtight container.
    3. Add the oats, chia seeds, and currants and mix well to combine.
    4. Add maple syrup to taste. Layer cooked apple on top, if using.
    5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
    6. For the optional apple topping: Heat the vegan butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.
    7. Add the apple slices in a single layer. Cook for 2 minutes.
    8. Add the maple syrup, and cinnamon and toss the apple until coated with the syrup.
    9. Cook for about 5 minutes more, or until lightly caramelized, flipping frequently.
    10. Place the apple slices on top of the oatmeal and refrigerate.
